A trip to Klamath Falls

Shelby (my neice), Emma, Blane (Rick's son) and Cole (my nephew)

Sam and Faith

Brody (Rick's son) and Josh- sorry I don't know how to turn the pic!

Shelby, my niece

Faith, the master pancake maker!

We spent the weekend in Klamath Falls. I forgot how brown that place is, mainly because that fact is squeezed out by all my memories, of a town full of people I loved and grew up with. We drove past Mazama High School- go Vikings! So much is the same, so much is different. It'll never be like it was, when we all went to school and church together. I love that part of my life. I wish and pray for that for my kids, to have friends like I had, to have a church like I had, to have the fun that I had.

We went for my Uncle Dave's wedding. It was hot and sunny and beautiful. We stayed at the Running Y Ranch. The kids played and swam. Here's some pics!

I'm so happy to see pictures of Cole and Shelby! They are so grown-up. Do they have summer jobs and everything? Cole hasn't changed one bit since he was a baby. I really see Gretchen in Shelby. And I really see Rick in Brody. How fun. That picture of Sam and Faith is absolutely adorable. You must want to hug him every time he gets near you. I know I would.

Cole's almost 12 and is all about baseball, football and being funny. Shelby is only 3 mos older than Emma, just really tall and totally like Gretchen. She's so emotional, we call her "our delicate flower". Rick's boys are 100% boy, fishing, football, wrestling and rodeos. And yes, I love my squishy Sam. He's quite huggable.
